Jamie Chadwick has dominated the fourth W Series race of the season at the Hungaroring, crossing the line more than 10 seconds ahead of title rival Alice Powell.

The reigning champion led every session across the weekend to take victory, her second of the season, for Veloce Racing. She also took the bonus points for fastest lap, setting a 1:43.611, while her times remained consistent throughout the race. Her win puts her back to the top of the championship standings, with Powell, driving for Racing X, closely behind, with two wins apiece of the four races so far this season.

W Series Academy driver Nerea Marti took third - her first podium of the series - with teammate Irina Sidorkova in fourth. 2019 runner-up Beitske Visser took fifth for M Forbes Motorsport, with Emma Kimilainen (Ecurie W) in sixth and Puma’s Marta Garcia in seventh. Scuderia W's Belén Garcia was eighth, ahead of Veloce's Bruna Tomaselli and Racing X's Jess Hawkins, who scored her first points of the season.

The next race is in Belgium on the 28th August.
